Hi all:

I'm thinking about getting software to scan print music, abnd am wondering what your experiences have been. I'm looking into the Lime Aloud program from Dancing Dots, as it seems they've optimized it for JAWS. I'm primarily looking at choral music, as I have a church job, and want to get decent access to the music. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks in advance, Lou

Contact dancing dots and also check out their web site if you haven't done so already. http://www.dancingdots.com

Interesting you responded to this post. I was going to drop you a note for your advise. I've already checked out their site, and am interested in Lime Aloud. If you have aditional thoughts please fire me off a note. I downloaded a demo of Sharpeye, but haven't had time to play with it yet.

Thanks,

Lou

well it really depends on what you want to do with the score once you scan it. depending on what you want to do, you may need multiple applications to cover all of the bases.

Well, I'm looking to just listen to the score, and be able to isolate parts. I'm also wondering how it will deal with lyrics as well, or I'd have to use Kurzweil, and put things together mentally.

Thanks much for our input.

Lou
